And author TM Frazier writes them like I love them. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, and drop it did!! I love the development of the relationship between Smoke and Frankie. My heart strings are tugged when Smoke comes face to face with sins from his past. I held my breath at twists I didn’t see coming. I laughed out loud, especially when our favorite characters make appearances. Their banter is fantastic, filled with sarcasm and innuendo. The push/ pull between Smoke and Frankie is intense. TM Frazier stays true to her characters which is something I love about her. Frankie is sassy, resourceful, and hiding a secret. He has redeeming qualities other than is hotness. However, she’s more than he bargained for. He is mean, arrogant and cocky, but, he’s not sadistic. Frankie is beautiful, smart and hiding in plain sight. Smoke is sexy, dangerous and set on revenge. His character was intriguing then, and, he does not disappoint in his own story. I was excited when I heard Smoke would be getting his own book after meeting him in All The Rage.
